Yi-Kai Liu

Yi-Kai Liu is an adjunct associate professor in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies. He is co-director of the Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) and a staff scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Liu conducts research on quantum computation and theoretical computer science, in particular, quantum algorithms and complexity, quantum state tomography, machine learning, and quantum cryptography.
