Biography:
Martin Loeb is a professor of accounting and information assurance with an affiliate appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
Loeb’s research focuses on economic mechanism design, incentive regulation, cost allocations and cost-based procurement contracting. He also explores the economic aspects of information security, the interface between managerial accounting and information technology, and the effect of regulation on cybersecurity, internal controls and disclosure.
